The Armenian Tourism Development Agency (ATDA) will be representing Armenia and the Armenian tourism industry at the prestigious International Tourism Bourse (ITB) in Berlin from March 12 to the 16, 2004 for the fourth consecutive year, with each year marking exponential growth in the tourism trade to and from Armenia.
ATDA, working actively with many Armenian tour operators, agencies, and other tourism representatives, has developed a winning program and marketing strategy designed to further Armenia’s reputation as a “four season destination for world travelers and tourism professionals, at premier international tourism exhibitions, such as ITB.
ITB, Berlin is a prime venue and marketplace for all sectors of the global tourism trade, including hotels, ticketing professionals, tour agencies and operators, airlines, car rental companies, as well as a slew of other related industry retailers and advertising interests.
ITB is known as “a driving force behind the entire industry and the exhibition area—with its various segments--comprehensive congress program, and supporting events represent the entire product spectrum of the tourist industry.
ITB is also a meeting ground for the development of new ideas, global approaches and targeted marketing for local, regional and international niche markets and their providers.
With 10,000 exhibitors from 180 countries and regions, ITB represents the full spectrum of global tourism at every level of operation—from the most minute products and services to large-scale corporate concerns.
Armenia’s representation at such events is integral to securing maximal benefits and growth for its burgeoning tourist trade and all its related industry interests and economic ventures.
ITB Berlin exhibition halls are organized for optimum exposure and are grouped according to geographic destination. For those who may be in Berlin during the Bourse, ATDA/Armenia exhibit will be located in Hall 3.2/101, making it easy to find and accessible to all.
